As if my obsession with all things see-through/plastic couldn't get any greater! Blurred Lines is my new fav in terms of outfits in music videos. I know, I know, it's causing controversy over the alleged sexism, but
TO HELL WITH THAT!
All I care about is those transparent plastic shorts, crop tops, sky high wedges and gold chains.
It's hard to find high quality stills so here's the video for all those who want to take a look!
The year is 2000-and-something, and my pre-teen self is about to embark on a love affair with music videos. Ok, so some of the songs were not works of musical genius, but the fashion was a revelation; you can wear stockings and corsets and HOW much make-up? Although in hindsight not the most age appropriate outfits to be admiring, here are my favourites from the new millennium.
Since leaving uni I have spent the last few months living in and out of a handbag. Not being much of a planner can be a disadvantage, so I have to be prepared for all occasions - who knew you could end up doing so much over one weekend!?! (I even ended up playing croquet and drinking pimms...)
But thankfully, all of these peculiar situations I find myself in have allowed me to practise and perfect the art of travelling light. Here are my summer necessities...
I always take a few accessories to change my look from day to night - earrings, scarf and a bright nail polish normally do the trick! - disposable camera, a good read (currently Fear and Loathing which I am loving), my make-up bag and Anna Sui perfume, some pretty knickers, cat eye shades and dry shampoo, which if you haven't discovered yet then you seriously missing out!
